My Supervision Philosophy
I believe good supervision is about more than meeting hour requirements. I'm here to help you grow into an ethical, competent, and effective clinician, with your own unique voice and style

My Approach
I aim to create a space where you can stretch your “clinical legs” without feeling overwhelmed. That means offering consistent, direct feedback while supporting your clinical instincts and encouraging thoughtful risk-taking. I’ll help you refine what you already do well, address blind spots, and stay rooted in evidence-based practices that support good client outcomes.I don’t want to shape you to do therapy just like me, I want to walk alongside you as you develop your own confident, well-informed approach to doing the work that you’re passionate about.
My supervision model emphasizes:
-
Evidence-based practices and sound clinical reasoning
-
Clear, actionable feedback
-
Feedback on how your own experiences may show up in the therapy room
-
Ethical decision-making and professional boundaries
-
Developing your own unique clinical voice
Our Focus Areas
Professional Identity
We'll focus on helping you figure out what kind of therapist you want to be, and how to bring that into the room with confidence.
Case Conceptualization
We'll practice breaking down what's happening with your clients and using that understanding to plan your work in a thoughtful, effective way.
Ethics
We'll talk through real-life situations and how to handle them in a way that protects your clients, your license, and your integrity.
Evidence-Based Treatments
You'll build familiarity with approaches that have a strong track record, and learn how to use them in ways that still feel personal and flexible.
Boundaries
You'll learn how to set and hold clear, manageable boundaries, especially when clients push back or the work gets emotionally complex.
Countertransference
We'll pay attention to how your own "stuff" can show up in session, and how to use that insight without letting it take over the session.
FAQ

1 / Who do you provide supervision for?
I offer supervision for post-master's clinicians pursuing LPC-MHSP licensure in Tennessee. I'm a good fit for associate-level therapists working with adult individuals or couples in private practice or outpatient settings.
2 / Do you offer virtual supervision?
Yes! All supervisions sessions are currently held virtually to accommodate your schedule and where you're at in Tennessee.
3 / Do you provide supervision for clinicians working with children or families?
My background and focus are best suited to work with adults and couples. If you're working mainly with children, teens, or families, I might not be the right fit. If that population is only part of who you see, I'd be happy to discuss it with you to see if we might still be a good fit.
4 / What's your approach to giving feedback
I offer direct, consistent feedback in a supportive way. My goal is to help you grow, not to catch you off guard or get you introuble, so we'll focus on real-time learning and usable feedback.
5 / What are your fees for individual and group supervision?
Individual supervision is $75 per session and is offered weekly or more often if needed. Group supervision is $50 per person (when available).
